Christmas Train

It's that time of the year again and we are now taking orders for the Wilko's Christmas Trains. They come with a name on one side and a snowflake on the opposite side. This year we are donating 25% of all sales to DIPG research through the Children's Cancer Institute in memory of our beautiful grand daughter Izzy who we lost to this incurable childhood brain cancer in August 2021. Fundraiser for Children's Cancer DIPG

Wilko's Waxes and Wilko's Wooden Creations will be donating 25% of sales from our Soy Wax Rainbow candle, and Christmas train to the Sydney Children Hospital to help Children and their Families that have been diagnosed DIPG.

Each year 20 kids are diagnosed with this incurable form of brain cancer. There are no effective treatments for DIPG and current therapeutic strategies are essentially palliative. The average survival rate from diagnosis is around nine to 12 months.

Medical research is the only way to help end this cruel disease. The brain tumor team is leading the way in finding answers and finally giving hope to many families.
